To the laughter of all, Joe Biden put Kamala Harris in charge of the border. So far, she has refused to even visit ground zero and is doing… pretty much nothing.
Reports suggest she is busy renovating the VP mansion. You know, important stuff like that.
The best we can gather is a recent comment from her office about “diplomacy.” M-kay.
But that’s not cutting with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. His state faces the worst of the border crisis.
And he is not about to let residents suffer because of Biden’s failures. So, he is demanding answers.
From Fox News:
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says he wants answers regarding the crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border – and he’s seeking them from Vice President Kamala Harris…
“Now that President Biden has named you Border Czar in charge of the administration’s response, I want to express to you the threats and challenges caused by this administration’s open border policies…”
Later in the letter, Abbott urges Harris to visit the border region herself – something she has yet to do since becoming vice president Jan. 20.
Greg Abbott lays out all the problems facing Texas, and the United States, thanks to Biden’s lax border enforcement.
He gives Harris plenty of information about how a weak border contributes to crime. Cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers are being “enriched,” because Biden refuses to uphold our laws.
I’m sure this is the first time Harris has even heard any of this. The liberal cronies in D.C. are very good at ignoring the facts to push their narrative.
At least once in her job, Harris will get the straight dope. Although, we can’t say if she’ll listen.
Abbott is demanding answers from the Biden administration over what they plan to do about the growing crisis.
Immigration policy aside, how can any leader—red or blue—sit back as drug cartels run rampant?
How can any “compassionate” Democrat sit by as children are forced into cages, sleeping on the ground?
Abbott also brought up other important points, such as what the administration is doing about screening for migrants—and what was being done for victims of assault and abuse.
I think I know the answer to that one.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see how Harris responds.
