Turns out Coca-Cola required photo ID to attend their annual shareholder meeting

It turns out Coca-Cola required a photo ID to attend their 2020 shareholder meeting.

The company wrote, “at the entrance to the meeting, we will verify your registration and request to see your admission ticket and a valid form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport.”

Coca-Cola’s CEO and Chairman James Quincey recently made news by siding with progressive activists protesting Georgia law requiring an ID to vote in person.

Quincey called the voting law “unacceptable” and “a step backward.”

Quincey also says “this legislation is wrong and needs to be remedied, and we will continue to advocate for it both in private and in now even more clearly in public”
